This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing a busy fabrication department, coordinating skilled tradespeople and ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

The Role

  • Supervise daily fabrication and welding activities
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of fabricators and welders
  • Allocate workloads and monitor production deadlines
  • Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
  • Ensure work meets dimensional, welding and quality standards
  • Coordinate with production, materials and quality teams
