NEOS Engineering Recruitment are looking for an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join a busy and rapidly expanding manufacturing facility based near Portrush.
The successful candidate will set and operate CNC laser-cutting machinery, producing accurate components for fabrication and assembly.
The Role
- Set and operate CNC laser-cutting machines.
- Load programs and select appropriate machine parameters.
- Process sheet metal and steel components.
- Check completed parts against drawings and specifications.
- Monitor cutting quality and make adjustments.
- Load and unload materials.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning.
- Record production output and material usage.
- Minimise waste and maximise productivity.
- The Candidate
- Previous CNC laser-operating experience.
- Experience with Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada or similar machinery is advantageous.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Confident using measuring equipment.
