NEOS Engineering are working with a leading manufacturer and supplier of crushing, screening and material processing equipment who are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover Plymouth and the surrounding South West region.

The Role

As a Crushing & Screening Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of mobile crushing, screening and recycling equipment across customer sites.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing mobile crushers and screeners.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Responding to breakdowns and minimising customer downtime.
  • Commissioning new equipment where required.
  • Completing service documentation accurately.
  • Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • The Candidate

We’re looking for engineers who have experience working on heavy plant, quarrying or recycling equipment.

Ideally you’ll have experience with equipment such as

  • Crushers
  • Screeners
  • Conveyors
  • Trommels
  • Shredders
  • Washing equipment
  • Heavy construction plant

You’ll also have

  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working in a field service environment.
  • A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
