High Voltage Contracts Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: ยฃ60,000 โ ยฃ70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Benefits: Overtime + Van
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the High Voltage profit centre, managing P&L, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
- Lead and deliver HV projects from scope through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Actively develop new and existing client relationships, generating quotations, securing tenders, and maintaining a strong project pipeline.
- Define project objectives, allocate resources, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, standards, and operational delivery.
- Manage and develop a team, setting measurable goals and promoting a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with HV/LV safety rules, company policies, and relevant legislation.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and wider commercial team.
Requirements
- Strong background in managing HV/LV projects within the electrical engineering services sector.
- Proven experience in P&L, budget management, and financial accountability.
- Track record of business development and growing revenue streams.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 5 yearsโ experience in managing engineering teams or business units.
- Higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (desirable).
- IOSH/SMSTS H&S for Managers certification.
