NEOS Engineering are delighted to partner with a leading waste management company seeking a Commercial Manager to spearhead their commercial function in North London. This standalone role, reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Manager, is critical for driving commercial activity and growth, supported by office-based staff.
As the Commercial Manager, you will lead tenders, manage key client accounts, and drive growth in the waste management sector. Your expertise will ensure profitable agreements and strong relationships across London and surrounding areas, with a focus on the construction market.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead tenders, bids, and contract negotiations.
- Manage and develop client accounts in construction and commercial sectors.
- Secure agreements with construction and demolition firms, focusing on site skips and waste management.
- Drive growth in the commercial and industrial waste division, including bin services.
- Ensure all commercial processes are sound and profitable as the sole commercial lead.
- Proven waste industry experience with strong knowledge of legislation and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently as the primary commercial lead.
- Strong organisational and commercial decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with the London construction market (desirable).
£65,000 - £80,000 salary plus commission. Company car and laptop. Additional benefits package.
