NEOS Engineering Recruitment are partnered with a leading name in the crushing & screening and heavy plant sector, who are looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a major groundworks & remediation project in the Scottish Highlands. This is a significant earthworks project involving large-scale material movement, kicking off on 8th June, with long-term potential and strong backing from an established business.

The Role

  • Commercial management of a major groundworks & remediation project
  • Managing costs across bulk earthworks / large-scale material movement
  • Subcontractor management, valuations, and final accounts
  • Supporting project delivery team with commercial insight and reporting
  • Working closely with site teams on a live, fast-paced project
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with contractual obligations

The Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, groundworks or earthworks
  • Strong understanding of bulk excavation / heavy civils projects
  • Comfortable working on large-scale, fast-moving projects
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and commercial processes end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills with both site and senior stakeholders
  • Open to working in Inverness / Highlands (accommodation provided if required)
