We’re looking for an experienced, organised, and beer-knowledgeable Taproom Manager to lead our taproom and take ownership of its day-to-day operations and events programme. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lively hospitality environment, loves running events, and has a genuine passion for great beer.

About the Role

As Taproom Manager, you’ll be in charge of creating outstanding customer experiences, leading a motivated team, and driving footfall through a strong calendar of events. You’ll combine hands-on service with excellent organisation, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the taproom, maintaining high standards of service
  • Plan, organise, and deliver engaging taproom events (tastings, launches, private hires, etc.)
  • Lead, train, and motivate the taproom team
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our beers and confidently share this with customers and staff
  • Manage stock control, ordering, cellar management, and quality control
  • Create rotas, manage staffing levels, and control wage budgets
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Work closely with the brewery/operations team to align taproom activity with wider business goals

About You

  • Proven experience managing a taproom, bar, pub, or similar hospitality venue
  • Strong knowledge of beer styles, cellar and best serve practices
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident planning and running events from concept to delivery
  • A natural leader with excellent people skills
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and event days
  • Passionate about creating welcoming, community-focused spaces
