We are recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. With thousands of employees and multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide, we design and produce products including electrical conduit, cable management systems, armored cable, metal framing, and security solutions.

An Export Sales Administrator to effectively manage customer accounts by ensuring orders are processed within required timeframes and all export documentation is completed accurately. This role is key to maintaining a high-quality service offering for international customers.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm & Fridays 8:30am - 4pm

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience

What you'll do:

  • Use computerised systems (currently SYSPRO) to process orders, check inventory, and resolve customer queries, including debits and credits.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, international sales managers, and transport companies to ensure timely and clear communication.
  • Process and manage orders from receipt to dispatch, including checking export shipment documentation, invoicing, and organising collections where required.
  • Ensure strict compliance with export regulations, liaising with external bodies to meet country-specific customs requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding product manufacture, assembly, and dispatch.
  • Coordinate responses to customer enquiries with International Sales Managers relating to stock availability, pricing, and discounts, providing technical support where possible.
  • Store all relevant shipment documentation, including collection notes, customer orders, and manifests.
  • Update order dispatch dates in SYSPRO and notify customers accordingly.
  • Follow company procedures for all administrative tasks on an ongoing basis.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others, acting in accordance with company health and safety policies at all times.

  • Good level of English and mathematics.
  • Intermediate or above proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Professional telephone manner.
