Neon Contracts is employing for our client in the West Bromwich area, they are a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. With approximately 3,900 employees and 65 manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide, we manufacture electrical conduit, cable management systems, armoured cable, metal framing, and security products and solutions.
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural forms.
What you'll do:
- Perform sheet metal welding using various techniques
- Utilise hand and power tools to weld and assemble metal components
- Fabricate and weld parts according to technical drawings
- Conduct stick welding for structural integrity
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
