Using a spray gun in a spray booth, applying powder coating to various parts and components. Targeted Work:
Focusing on quality and detail to achieve a high-quality finish. Identifying Defects:
Detecting paint defects and performing nibbing (a form of surface preparation) before polishing. Polishing:
Polishing different components to meet cosmetic requirements, following process cards and instructions. Maintaining a Clean Workspace:
Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and uncluttered to minimize damage to coated components. Equipment Maintenance:
Performing routine checks on equipment and maintaining it in good working order. Safety Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, and properly handling hazardous materials. General Operative Duties:
Assisting with other duties as needed by the business. Following Process Cards:
Adhering to detailed process cards and work instructions for specific projects. Hours of work: 7am-16pm mon-Thurs/ 7am-12pm Fri This role is a long term position.
