We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing plastic injection moulding company for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy and fast-paced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a dynamic shopfloor environment.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Weekly Rotating Shifts) 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
About the Role: This is a physically active, shopfloor-based position where you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations and production flow. Around 80% of your time will be spent on the shopfloor, so you should be comfortable with regular walking, manual handling, and moving stock using trolleys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking finished goods and stock movements using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Transporting materials and finished products across the shopfloor
- Supporting production by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) when required (limited use)
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive and energetic individual who can use their own initiative
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Valid Counterbalance FLT license (essential)
- Previous FLT or warehouse experience is required, some training can be provided
