FLT Counterbalance Driver and Warehouse Operative in Birmingham

e are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy and well-established warehouse operation on the evening shift.
This is a hands-on role involving a significant amount of manual handling, so the successful candidate must be comfortable with regular lifting of products weighing up to 20kg .

Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount, particularly when managing stock, product quantities and warehouse locations.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Carrying out regular stock takes and stock checks
Booking incoming purchase orders (POs) in conjunction with the Goods In department
Receiving, checking and accurately locating stock
Replenishing stock locations throughout the warehouse
Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
Moving and organising stock around the warehouse
Heavy lifting and manual handling , including products weighing up to 20kg
Palletising products safely and securely
Assisting with the preparation and processing of DPD orders
Ensuring orders are accurately picked, prepared and ready for dispatch
Using computer systems to record stock movements and update information
Working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
