The Portfolio Manager will possess a high level of marketing competency and use their wider portfolio experience to guide and direct a team of 3 marketeers and 4 product managers. What you’ll be doing: Directs the development of company market requirements for specific Animal Safety product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Monitors the development of product and sales plans, assesses market penetration, and product strategy and positioning to drive competitive advantage, market share and revenue. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to your team, manufacturing, and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. About You: The successful candidate must have a proven track record within Product Marketing and have responsibility for managing people in addition to product responsibility. Degree educated in a marketing discipline or Masters degree in business is preferable. Strong organisational skills and clear communication. Strategic thinker and influencer. Ability to work cross-functionally to support and direct others achieving business-driven goals. Demonstrate ability to evolve in a fast-changing market environment.
