This is a senior operational leadership role, accountable for delivering consistent performance, operational discipline, and measurable results in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. The role is responsible for translating the operational strategy and roadmap set by the Operations Director into consistent day‑to‑day execution. Leading site‑based Warehouse Supervisors and regional direct reports, the successful candidate will drive sustained improvements in productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost through strong leadership, performance management, and standardisation.

Step into a pivotal leadership role overseeing regional warehouse and logistics operations across multiple UK sites. You will be responsible for delivering high levels of operational performance, service, and safety, while ensuring cost‑effective distribution across the UK and mainland Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to take ownership of a multi‑site operation and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regional leadership for warehouse and logistics operations across three sites, including oversight of transport partners and third‑party logistics providers, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective distribution across the UK and mainland Europe.
  • Own operational performance across all locations, delivering against clearly defined productivity, service, quality, safety, and cost KPIs, ensuring that performance is visible, regularly reviewed, and actively managed.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant health and safety, legal, regulatory, and company requirements, embedding a strong safety culture and consistent adherence to standards across all sites.
  • Establish, implement, and sustain standardised processes, controls, and ways of working to reduce variation, improve material flow, and support operational excellence.
  • Recruit, lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Supervisors and wider warehouse teams, building leadership capability, depth, and succession within the regional operation.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, working closely and collaboratively with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Trade Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues effectively and prevent recurrence.
Job Requirements
  • Significant experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in a multi‑site environment, with a strong track record of delivering against operational KPIs.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and developing teams, including performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transport management, and third‑party logistics provider oversight, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost control.
  • Proven experience of implementing standard operating procedures and driving continuous improvement initiatives within an operational setting.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety and relevant regulatory requirements within a warehouse and logistics environment in the UK.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

All applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom, in accordance with applicable immigration legislation.

What We Offer
  • A managerial role with genuine responsibility for a regional, multi‑site warehouse and logistics operation.
  • The opportunity to shape and improve standardised processes and contribute to ongoing operational excellence.
  • A standard benefits package, including typical employment benefits in line with UK market practice.
  • A professional working environment that supports high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
