Position Summary: NeoDyne are recruiting a Graduate Automation Engineer to join our expanding System Integration team. Our graduate programme is all about learning new and developing your existing skills. Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business. This Graduate opportunity is offered as a full-time permanent contract, based at our Chesterfield Office, with an excellent salary and benefits package.

What will I be doing? Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business. Projects will be spread across all areas of Industrial Automation and could include PLC and SCADA design, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), control logic programming, control panel hardware design, and site testing & commissioning. Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to get involved in installation, testing, and commissioning.

You'll receive support and guidance, and an invaluable opportunity to learn from former graduates who've seen it and done it. 10% Formal Education: We'll help you become an expert in your chosen field, backed up by formal e-learning and classroom training. This extends to attaining professional certifications where relevant to our business specialisations.
Required Experience & skills: Level 8 Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Energy Engineering, or equivalent. Full UK driving licence and car, or must be achieved within the first 12 months of employment.
Desired: 0-3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing process improvement role or Work Placement. Master's Degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering, or equivalent. Experience programming PLCs.
