We are looking for a well-rounded IT Engineer who can take ownership of both day-to-day support and full project delivery. This role combines service desk responsibilities with end-to-end project management, including customer onboarding, migrations, and solution design.
You will play a key role within the IT team, contributing across all areas of service delivery while also helping shape the direction of our IT services offering.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of the IT team to manage and resolve support tickets across customer environments.
- Provide remote support to customers from the office and attend site visits where required.
- Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and Mac devices (Azure/Entra joined).
- Support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
- Deploy and support security solutions including endpoint security, email security, backup, RMM, security awareness training, and password management tools.
- Work with and support solutions within the Acronis stack.
- Lead IT onboarding projects from discovery through to delivery.
- Conduct discovery calls and audits of customer infrastructure.
- Design and implement IT solutions based on customer requirements.
- Deliver migrations (e.g. server to cloud, NAS to SharePoint, tenant migrations).
- Manage project timelines, documentation, and customer communication.
- Attend customer sites to support installations and project delivery.
- Contribute to internal IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support product selection, testing, and rollout of new services.
- Help shape and refine F One’s IT service offering.
- Minimum 3–5+ years’ experience in IT support, ideally within an MSP environment.
- Proven experience delivering IT projects or migrations.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
- Experience deploying security solutions such as endpoint protection, email security, backup, or RMM platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams across support and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as part of the role.
- A well-rounded engineer who is comfortable across both support and project work.
