The Role
Join Neo4j’s innovative Generative AI (GenAI) team, where we are pioneering advanced AI and machine learning solutions. As a Back‑End Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing robust, scalable server‑side systems that power our GenAI product portfolio. You will contribute to both existing and new products as we expand our suite of GenAI offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance back‑end systems using Python/Go/Typescript to support GenAI applications.
- Stay current with advancements in GenAI technologies and back‑end development trends to ensure optimal system architecture.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to propose innovative solutions that enhance our GenAI products and services.
- Support internal teams in integrating GenAI capabilities into their systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience building back‑end systems with Python, utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI, or similar with Go or TypeScript.
- Experience with building applications using Agent Frameworks or libraries like PydanticAI, LangGraph, AG2, CrewAI, AI‑SDK or similar.
- Proven expertise in developing scalable, efficient back‑end infrastructure for AI‑driven or GenAI applications.
- Strong proficiency in back‑end development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, etc.
