The Role - We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and results-oriented Regional Marketing Manager to lead and execute our regional marketing strategy in UKI. This is a key role in the EMEA marketing team, focusing on a major and important market. This role best suits a true self-starter, comfortable with change, who displays strong initiative. You will be expected to use your initiative and marketing expertise to implement a marketing strategy in a high-growth highly ambitious company, playing a key part in driving brand awareness, lead and demand generation, and pipeline progression.
As part of a small but growing marketing team, your role will include event marketing, digital campaigns, virtual programs, content creation, social, PR and AR liaison; and anything from specific country projects to working with our global teams. Driving revenue in the region through impactful demand-generation programs is key to meeting our ambitious revenue goals. This person will forge strong relationships with the Neo4j sales, field engineering, SDR and services teams. You must be fluent in understanding marketing funnel metrics and able to evaluate marketing activity performance quantitatively. We’re looking for future leaders—this role offers a path to team leadership for high performers.
Who You’ll Work With: You will be a member of the EMEA Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing in North EMEA. The EMEA team is responsible for driving high-quality lead generation programs that take customers and prospects through their buyers’ journey using all activities in the marketing mix including digital, and event programs. This position requires significant cross-functional collaboration with central functions - product marketing, partner, creative, social, PR, AR, customer marketing, developer relations and content teams.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for planning, building and delivering marketing campaigns and events, both online and physical, to drive increased awareness and progress opportunities through the funnel and be delivered to sales teams. Determine and own your regional field marketing strategy, including trade shows, events, webinars, partner programs, and digital campaigns to drive leads, and opportunities, and win business. Efficient budget tracking, forecasting and management of your regional marketing plan. With the ABM lead, contribute to an effective ABM program for the region to amplify sales relationships and support the progression of strategic deals. Deliver innovative, marketing programs that not only drive awareness, pipeline generation, ARR, and create new logo opportunities, but inspire and educate, positioning us as thought leaders across the region. Accountable for the execution and optimisation of the marketing mix to deliver the key performance indicators and targets including MQL’s, Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAO’s) and pipeline. Manage and execute regional activities, ensuring campaigns are delivered within agreed timescales and convert at the required level to deliver inbound & outbound pipeline targets. Engage and work collaboratively with all marketing functions to plan and implement lead-generation programs. Define and deliver Neo4j events, roadshows, and 3rd party conference sponsorships, including customer speaker recruitment and management. Develop and expand engagement within the region with the channel and cloud partner teams to support co-marketing demand generation programs. Partner with the central PR team and local PR agencies to optimise PR plans. Be an active member of the Global Marketing team to ensure consistency of strategic marketing programs. Improve and apply processes and best practices to ensure program success, making programs globally visible and available, measure outcomes, and manage the local budget to maximise the impact.
Who You Are: At least 12 years of marketing experience working in the B2B technology industry with cloud, big data, analytics, or database experience. University degree or equivalent experience in marketing. Experience in managing and operating field events. Deep familiarity with the enterprise B-to-B software market. Strong planning and project management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritise, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines. Happy to deal with the admin of various marketing and project management platforms. Proactive communicator and has a track record of strong teamwork and collaboration with all levels in an organisation. Goal-oriented, self-starter, able to work and think independently, but also a team player. Knowledge and experience with modern demand generation and integrated marketing. Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, WordPress, Splash and common social media channels are a bonus. Ability to travel in support of local activities and initiatives as required by the business.
