Overview
Joiner – Fire Doors (Installation & Remedial Works)
Location – Yorkshire with travel throughout the North
Salary – Circa £42/46k (Inclusive of travel time) + Van + Benefits
At NEO Property Solutions we specialise in the installation and maintenance of Fire Doors – both timber and composite. Our work ranges from Schools, Hospitals, Sports Arena, Offices, Apartments, Social Housing, Retail Outlets to Care Homes and more.
Each day is a little different, you might be doing some remedial work on a double door set and bringing it back to regulations, installing some new intermittent strips, upgrading hinges or installing Iron work. The next a could be complete rip out of an old door and surround and installing a complete new assembled door set.
What we need from you:
- Reliability – first and foremost we need continuity and our joiners to turn up on site on time ready to roll.
- A general capability to use technology – we record all works done on a mobile device, you’ll need to be comfortable using it (full training will be provided)
- Minimum NVQ level 2 Carpentry (Or other joinery equivalent)
- Full UK Driving licence
- Able to pass a DBS check (remember you’re working on occupied property – so all joiners are vetted)
- A positive attitude – Not everyday goes to plan in this crazy world, so the ability to look past the challenge and remain focused is a real benefit
- Experience of repairing and installing fire door sets (highly advantageous)
Working conditions:
- Working hours – Mon to Thur 08:00 to 16:30 (15:30 on Fridays)
- Generally travel upto 1.5 hours of your home (We try to keep you as local as possible)
