What's the Role About?
We are currently seeking a dedicated BACS & Payments Administrator to join our team.
This role involves ensuring all payroll and related payments are processed accurately and on time, enhancing profitability and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing : Handle UK monthly payroll accurately and timely, adhering to UK legislation and deadlines.
Payment Administration : Process payments/advances and collections via BACS and manage urgent payment requests.
Customer Service : Address queries from clients and colleagues, providing high-level service via various communication channels.
Record Keeping : Maintain logs of payroll payment requests and ad-hoc data reports.
Ad-Hoc Tasks : Assist with User Acceptance Testing and undertake other duties as requested.
Training : Complete all mandatory training and participate in role-relevant training sessions.
Please note that this role is based at our new offices in Bury, Greater Manchester.
What Can You Bring to the Role?
- Experience of working in a fast-paced working environment.
- A basic understanding of payroll is desirable.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (v-lookup).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
