We are working in partnership with a well-established UK-based civil engineering and infrastructure contractor. With more than 40 years’ experience delivering projects in water, transport, energy, and the built environment, they are recognised for technical excellence, collaborative working, and delivering sustainable solutions.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver civil engineering and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for programme management, cost control, health and safety compliance, and building strong client relationships, while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects to meet programme, cost, and quality targets.
  • Prepare and manage project programmes, risk registers, and cost forecasts.
  • Lead regular project meetings and coordinate site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the supply chain.
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve project and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable experience delivering multi-discipline civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and project cost control.
  • Proficient in project planning software (Primavera P6 or equivalent).
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or MICE membership.
  • Experience in water, tunnelling, or MEICA projects.
