There is an opportunity to join our team as a secondary DT/ART teacher. We are looking for a suitably qualified teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience in a special school and developing their classroom expertise.
Responsibilities
- Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons to pupils with a range of abilities.
- Establish positive relationships with a class as a tutor.
- Develop knowledge and skills linked to teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
- Be a qualified and experienced teacher of DT/ART.
- Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Be prepared to develop schemes of learning and take responsibility for monitoring and assessment.
- Possess real strengths in developing relationships with pupils and supporting their engagement in learning.
- Be prepared to get involved in the wider life of the school.
