NeneBrook Recruitment (NRG) is partnering with a well-established business to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance department on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a small, friendly finance team and should have strong all-round accounts experience with a practical, hands-on approach.
You will have:
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience using accounting software and/or payroll systems
- Knowledge of MS Navision and/or Sage Payroll (advantageous)
- Previous experience covering multiple aspects of accounts; AAT part-qualified or qualified by experience
Working closely with the finance team, your main duties will include:
- Processing sales invoices
- Processing customer receipts (bank and card)
- Reconciling sales ledger balances
- Debt collection and customer account follow-up
- Checking credit card payments against amounts received in the bank
- Providing sales information and reporting to the Director
