We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with responsibility for supporting and monitoring EAL teaching and pupils across the school.

Key Responsibilities and Qualities

  • Has a genuine interest in children and is able to respond to them professionally with a quiet authority.
  • Is passionate about meeting the needs of all children including those with additional needs.
  • Can lead the class during PPA and cover situations.
  • Can support the class teacher to ensure the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of the school.
  • Will contribute to raising standards of achievement for all children.
  • Is willing to engage with all aspects of school life, parents and the wider community.
  • Wishes to work in an organisation with strong ethical values and is willing to work with us to ensure that The Elliot Foundation Values are embedded.
