This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning IT Managed Service Provider with a 20+ year track record and ambitious growth plans. This role sits in a talented Infrastructure team and would be a great platform for someone with 3rd-line support experience to take on more consulting-led responsibilities and to progress their career path towards a senior technical consulting or architecture role. Responsibilities:
- Act as 3rd-line point of escalation for complex and business-critical incidents
- Take ownership of major/critical incidents, including post-incident review
- Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to proactive service delivery
- Contribute technical oversight for improvements and changes
- Develop subject matter expertise in selected products, working closely with vendors
- Consult internally on new product developments
- Support and mentor engineers from 1st & 2nd line team
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain high quality technical documentation
Requirements:
- Experience in an IT Managed Service Provider environment (essential)
- Track record in complex multi-client or multi-site environments
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products including M365 and Azure
- Good understanding of cyber security principles
- Strong networking and infrastructure skills
- Microsoft certifications would be beneficial as would AI tools (Copilot) experience
