dRofus, a subsidiary of the Nemetschek Group, is a global leader in providing data management and collaboration solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry. dRofus enables project stakeholders to manage, structure, and synchronize critical building and infrastructure information throughout the entire asset lifecycle. The platform supports data-driven decision‑making and project transparency for some of the most complex facilities in the world, including airports, hospitals, and educational campuses.
In this role, you will be the trusted partner for a portfolio of strategic customers across the UK built environment sector, with a particular focus on hospital projects. You will ensure they realise clear value from dRofus, renew successfully, and expand their use of our platform across projects, programmes, and portfolios. You will sit at the intersection of account management, customer success, and strategic consulting – working closely with customer executives, digital/BIM leaders, and project teams to embed dRofus into day-to-day delivery.
Your responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of strategic UK customers as their primary post-sale contact, building relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Develop account plans covering customer success, adoption, renewals and growth, using account-health signals to address risks early.
- Drive customer outcomes through best practice in room and equipment data, BIM-linked workflows and information handover.
- Identify and close expansion opportunities across projects, business units and enterprise rollouts, pursuing new customers where possible.
- Lead executive business reviews and commercial discussions to demonstrate value, secure renewals and grow net revenue retention.
- Coordinate implementation, consulting, support, product and sales colleagues to deliver a consistent customer experience.
- Represent customer needs internally, feeding insights into the product roadmap and go-to-market activities.
Qualifications:
- At least five years in key account management, customer success or similar SaaS or enterprise software roles; preferably 7–10+ years managing senior or strategic accounts.
- Proven success retaining and growing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts, ideally in AECO, construction technology, design/BIM software or adjacent sectors.
- Strong commercial judgement and confidence in renewals, negotiation, expansion and relationship management.
- Relevant architecture, engineering or construction industry background, with an understanding of digital construction, BIM, building data or owner-operator needs - or the ability to learn quickly.
- Alternatively, we also consider senior construction, engineering or architecture professionals with a strong project management and/or consultancy background who would like to switch into account management.
- Fluent English and excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes for technical, non-technical and executive audiences.
- A self-driven, structured approach, confidence working autonomously and a proactive approach to winning business.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK and abroad in Europe.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with public-sector organisations, large private owners, contractors or consultants in the UK built environment.
- An educational background in architecture, construction or engineering; extensive experience is considered in place of a degree.
What we offer:
- The opportunity to shape how leading UK organisations manage building data on major projects.
- A senior customer-facing role with ownership and influence across product, sales and strategy.
- A collaborative, international team culture backed by the Nemetschek Group.
- A competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
- Flexible working arrangements.
