  • As a

Business Development Lead , you will play a key role in expanding Bluebeam’s presence in new markets across EMEA, with an initial focus on France and scope to expand into other regions.

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing revenue opportunities while building strong relationships within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

This is an individual contributor role and part of our sales team, but you will work closely with Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to open new doors, create strategic relationships within AEC, and provide valuable insights.

By leveraging your industry expertise in construction workflows and trends, you will help shape Bluebeam’s market strategy and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new markets, segments, and strategic accounts to grow revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients and partners to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Develop and execute strategies and campaigns that align with the company’s growth and profitability goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Define and influence target market, value proposition and GTM plans.
  • Develop entry strategies through customer interviews and relationships.
  • Ensure regional initiatives, market entry activities, and partnership strategies remain aligned with global business objectives and quarterly performance goals.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor moves, then turn insights into target‑account plans.
  • Conduct in‑depth market mapping to understand regulatory landscape, competitive environment, cultural nuances, and customer needs in target emerging countries or regions.
  • Provide structured market feedback to leadership on demand patterns, product gaps, and competitive tactics to shape roadmap and investment decisions in emerging markets.
  • Provide sales with market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer personas.
  • Collect feedback to inform product localisation and service improvements.
  • Align regional activities with global strategy and quarterly goals.
  • What We Would Like to See in You
  • Solid experience in business development, market expansion, or regional sales in emerging markets such as France, Spain, Italy and Poland.
  • Fluent/native level French language skills

Deep experience in consultative selling to enterprise customers within the AEC industry or similar complex B2B environments.

  • Proven track record of developing and sustaining long‑term relationships with clients with AEC experience.
  • Experience in business development, market expansion, or regional sales in emerging markets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross‑cultural collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required to emerging markets.
