The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
The responsibility of the Senior National Account Manager is to drive profitable growth of Nelsons products across a portfolio of accounts, which include Pharmacy, Discounters plus others. The role also involves management of an external syndicated Field Team and three direct reports (Key Account Manager, 2x Telesales).
Key responsibilities
- Constructing, agreeing and implementing the channel(s) strategy with the UK Head of Sales.
- Constructing, agreeing and implementing Joint Business Plans, adapting both customer and Nelsons strategy.
- Negotiating commercial terms including range, distribution, pricing and trade investment.
- Managing a pricing structure across the channel.
- Ensuring sales & profit targets are achieved for a portfolio of accounts across a breadth of channels.
- Working cross functionally with marketing colleagues to ensure efficient delivery of the customer and brand plans.
- Collaborate with supply chain to ensure accurate volume forecasts achieve on-time fulfilment of orders.
- Working cross functionally with finance colleagues to ensure profitable delivery of the customer and brand plans.

- Previous sales/account management experience within the Pharmacy channel, and ideally with managing Field Teams and managing Discounters.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills and the ability to create and shape channel strategies and build customer business plans.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Results driven individual capable of managing complexity.
- Understanding and managing a complex P&L.
