We are seeking an entrepreneurial and performance-driven Digital Key Account Manager to manage our Asia marketplace and digital partner strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to scale and build upon our existing business while establishing new growth channels across Asian markets. Strategic partnership development is key to this role, as much of the day-to-day execution is managed by our Regional Partners. This role requires both analytical rigor and entrepreneurial flair, with a start-up style environment supported by an established business.
What you will be doing
- Strategic Planning and Monitoring Execution: Develop joint-business plans with our Strategic Partners for Asian marketplaces including Amazon Japan/Singapore, Lazada, Shopee, Tmall, JD.com, Rakuten and other regional platforms.
- Track and Measure: Monitor partner performance to ensure on track progress, meeting objectives and delivering against plan. Apply knowledge of digital marketing to objectively review performance and make recommendations.
- Facilitate Sharing Across the Business: Ensure partners have access to brand assets, content refreshes, product strategy and insights to help drive their businesses forward.
- Monitor Competitive Landscape: Assess competitive dynamics and implement strategies to gain market share.
- Channel Strategy & Execution: Evolve marketplace strategy across the Asian market, including social commerce (e.g., Douyin) and on-platform social tools. Establish expansion plans and work with partners to execute.
- Working With Our Export Team: Share learnings, build playbooks and collaborate to optimise joint business plans with Distributors.
- Reporting Lines: Report to the Commercial Director, USA and Global Digital, with dotted lines to the Commercial Director UK, Europe and Rest of World.
- Conversion Optimisation: Track presence on platforms, ensure alignment with algorithm best practices and work with partners to optimise conversion opportunities.
- Merchandising: Collaborate with partners on merchandising tactics, promotional activities and product assortments.
- Reporting: Monitor core KPIs, report against performance and forecasts, build insights programs to continually improve and deliver real-time actionable insights.
- Budget Management: Advise on and work with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasts and performance metrics to maximise ROI.
Requirements
- Substantial marketplace management experience with a strong focus on Asian marketplaces.
- Mandarin and English proficiency.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through digital channels.
- Deep understanding of major Asian marketplace dynamics, policies, and best practices.
- Experience managing key account relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of Asian consumer behaviour and regional market nuances.
- Proficiency with major marketplace platforms and their seller tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience.
- Understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Experience with inventory management systems and CRM platforms.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Confident working in a multi-language, international environment and presenting to Senior Stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy.
- Ideally experience or a personal interest in the health and wellbeing sector.
