In 2023, Nelsons became part of Lawfront, a national group of leading regional law firms dedicated to delivering comprehensive legal support to individuals and businesses nationwide. Committed to strategic growth, Lawfront is aiming to build a group in the top 10 of UK regional law firms.
As part of this group, you will be able to benefit from working locally for a well-respected leading law firm whilst accessing the scale, investment resources, expertise and professional development opportunities of a national organisation. We look to empower our clients, give them a voice, fight for them, help them seek justice and steer them through complex legal issues they face.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive package and benefits that you’d expect from a leading regional law firm which is part of a group of national scale.
The Role:
We are one of the leading employment law teams in the East Midlands. We advise businesses, not-for-profit organisations and individuals on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues, including recruitment, contracts and policies, discrimination, TUPE and Employment Tribunal claims.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate Solicitor with around 4 to 5 years plus PQE to join the team in our Leicester office. However, we would consider the successful candidate to work in our Nottingham or Derby office. Working in an experienced and supportive team of Partners and Associates, the successful candidate will have experience of advising on a wide range of employment law matters, possess excellent client care skills and be a confident team player. Supervisory experience of team members would be advantageous.
Ideal candidates will be technically strong with an eye for detail and able to communicate effectively. They will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude towards challenges and change, as well as a willingness to embrace Nelsons’ vision and values.
This is an excellent role for an individual who is looking to expand their knowledge, gain experience and join a successful team. In return for their hard work and commitment, there will be ongoing personal and professional support and the opportunity to develop their career within this area of law within a progressive and forward-thinking law firm.
The successful candidate will be given all the tools to succeed, including a supportive team, state-of-the-art case management system and a great working environment. They can expect dedicated training, professional support and a host of other benefits.
