Nelsons is one of the largest and fastest growing law firms in the East Midlands with experts in Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. Nelsons is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Worker to join their dedicated in-house Facilities Team based in Nottingham. While the role is primarily Nottingham-based, you will also attend our Derby office once a week and our Leicester office at least once a month. You will play a vital part in ensuring all three locations are maintained to an exceptional standard and remain safe, welcoming environments for our colleagues and clients.

We are ideally looking for someone with at least three years' experience in general maintenance within a commercial office setting would be advantageous.

  • To carry out regular scheduled maintenance of the building's assets
  • To carry out minor reactive repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, and decorating tasks

Additional desirable skills:

  • Experience operating a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
  • Ability to write and review Risk and Method Statements
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
  • High-quality painting and decorating skills
  • Electrical knowledge (e.g., 18th Edition BS7671)

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
