We’re seeking an ambitious individual to join our Financial Planning team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for providing full administrative support to Financial Planners, as well as building relationships with clients to deliver a positive and sleek client experience.
As an IFA Administrator you will be supported to grow personally and professionally, you will have access to a structured training programme offering Training & Competency oversight to excel personal development. We encourage continuous professional development via ongoing studying and qualifications, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from a team of experienced Investment Managers and Financial Advisers.
This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week after probation.
Your responsibilities will include among others:
- Working closely with the aligned FPs/Investment Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes, build relationships and maintain regular contact.
- Onboarding clients/processing new business/preparation of meeting packs and valuations (as required).
- Completing application forms and paperwork - Invoices & Withdrawals.
- Letters of authority / Client servicing/client queries.
- Liaising with operational teams where support is provided on activities, e.g., scripts, transfers, corporate actions, static data changes, where applicable.
- Assisting investment managers in the preparation of new business pitches and presentations.
- Maintaining back-office systems and client records in line with the company policies.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience as follows:
- Prior experience or currently working for an IFA in the Wealth management industry.
- Client facing experience, dealing with HNW clients and an ability to use judgement & reasoning to propose solutions to problems.
- Experience in most of these financial products: ISAs/Pensions/SIPPS/SSAS/Offshore bonds.
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
- Ability to fully plan workload and display excellent organisational skills.
