We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team in our Newcastle Upon Tyne office, which is responsible for providing comprehensive support to Financial Planners and Partners by ensuring timely, accurate completion of tasks throughout the advice process. The individual will not hold their own client bank, but will work closely with Partners to deliver high-quality client outcomes. Responsibilities span technical research, preparation of advice, and maintaining accurate records, while also supporting client interactions and meetings where required. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Gathering client information and documentation to support advice preparation while conducting technical research across a wide range of financial products and solutions.
- Collaborating with Financial Planners to ensure clients receive the right advice to achieve their objectives while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Preparing suitability reports and supporting documentation for Financial Planners.
- Ensuring all advice-related tasks are completed accurately and uploaded to internal systems.
- Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date client records in line with FCA and company standards.
- Supporting Financial Planners in client meetings, including cashflow modelling and note-taking where required.
Qualifications
- Hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning with a desire to develop further and work towards Chartered status.
- Have strong technical knowledge of financial planning processes and products.
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Hold a professional approach and ability to lead by example.
