Nelson Recruitment Services are actively recruiting for Welders for our client based in the Walsall area. IMMEDIATE START MONDAY.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with different materials, such as sheet metal.

WELDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Production Welding work available.

Standard Welding work available.

Mon - Fri 7.30am - 4.30pm.

Pay rate ranging from 15.00 per hour / weekly pay.

Your duties will include:

  • Operate welding equipment to perform welding processes.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
  • Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

You will need to be:

  • Proficient in welding techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working with sheet metal and various types of metals.
