We are currently recruiting for an experienced Spot Welder to join a busy manufacturing electrical business based in West Bromwich. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding or production experience who is looking to join a well-established manufacturing environment and work as part of a supportive team.
The Role
- Set and operate spot welding machines and associated equipment.
- Produce components accurately and in line with production requirements.
- Check parts against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Carry out basic machine checks and report any faults or production issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records where required.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with 5S standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Work as part of a team to meet production targets and support continuous improvement.
About You
- Previous experience in spot welding, robotic welding, or a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and work from basic drawings or job instructions.
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude towards health and safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Hours of Work
- This role works on a rotating shift pattern:
- Morning shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Pay: £15.50 per hour, weekly pay
