Nelson Recruitment Services are recruiting for our client in the West Bromwich area, who manufacture parts and products for the electrical wholesale industry. We are looking for Brake Press Setters to work within the manufacturing shop floor; you must have previous experience in setting the press brake machine.

Person Specification for Brake Press Setter:

  • Previous experience as Brake Press Setter/Operator
  • Capable of creating programmes
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
  • Metal Fabrication experience
  • Ability to follow directions and to communicate with all team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Job Description:

  • Setting and Operating of Press Brake creating varied products
  • Working with different types of steel
  • Carry out quality check on work
  • Ensure a clean, tidy, organised working space
  • Applicants should possess the ability to work efficiently
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Must be able to communicate at all levels, and have the ability to work as part of a team

You will be required to attend a meet and greet, an induction, and also a short practical test on the machinery.

Shift Pattern: (Rotating)

  • 6am-2pm
  • 2pm-10pm

Pay rate: £12.71-£14.00 + 22% shift allowance
