Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently looking for a practical, reliable and proactive Site Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities team at our Tamworth site. If you enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in maintaining a safe and professional working environment, and have a broad range of maintenance skills, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out general repairs to site fixtures and fittings
- Paint, decorate and complete basic maintenance tasks
- Install appliances and equipment
- Assist with the upkeep of external yards and landscaped areas
- Disposing of waste safely in designated areas
- Set up meeting rooms and replenish refreshments
- Support statutory inspections and compliance activities
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety
- Provide maintenance support across other company sites when required
- Assist with showroom and trade stand display installations
- Drive company vehicles as part of your duties
- Provide additional support to the Facilities team as needed
Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic electrical wiring knowledge
- Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
- Painting and decorating experience, including filling and painting
- A positive, helpful and approachable attitude
- Professionalism and integrity when representing the business
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Forklift licence
- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) licence
- PAT Testing qualification
