Blossoms on the Common is currently recruiting a number of Early years Practitioners for our recently opened nursery in Rushall.

The Nursery offers high quality full day care for children aged 0 to 5 years.
Open 7.00am-6.00pm 51 weeks of the year.
The nursery will be heavily supported by the curiosity approach to learning, with an emphasis on the natural world and what we can learn from the world around us.
The role will be room based, working with a key group of children. We have part time positions available to suit the right candidates.
You must be:
* Confident and a self – starter with the ability to successfully work within a team to achieve the best outcome for children.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ofsted requirements, having achieved good/outstanding Ofsted results.
* You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work well in a team environment
* You will have outstanding customer service skills with a focus on setting your nursery apart from other local settings by providing exceptional services in all aspects of the business.
* You will be committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of the nursery and able to implement change when required.
Responsibilities will include:
* To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education and overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across a key group of children.
* Ensuring child/staff ratios are adhered to at all times and that all daily checklists are completed on time and accurately, such as opening and closing the nursery, outdoor risk assessments, and all internal domestic areas checklists.
* To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum. To assist in compiling policies and ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all time.
* To implement an effective parent liaison program and to be influential in
Essential :
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
* Knowledge and experience of Ofsted standards, child development and EYFS.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
* Pediatric first aid
Desirable :
* safeguarding lead or SENCO qualifications.
* familiar with online learning journal systems, specifically Famly.
* Experience/ knowledge around the Curiosity approach.
