Nelson Recruitment are currently recruiting for a permanent Brake Press Setter on behalf of their manufacturing client based in West Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join a well-established manufacturing business on a rotating shift pattern.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Shift Allowance: 22% for rotating shifts
Shift Pattern (Rotating):
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
What You’ll Do:
- Set and operate Brake Press machines
- Adjust tooling and machine settings to meet production requirements
- Produce parts to the required production rates and report any issues affecting output
- Ensure components meet quality standards and specifications
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Carry out quality checks on finished parts
- Ensure good 5S standards are maintained in the work area
- Follow all Health and Safety regulations
