Tig Welder/Fabricator Location: Corby and East Anglia Rate: £17ph-£20ph (PAYE) + bonus Hours: Mon – Thurs (07:30-16:30) Fri (07:30-14:30) Contract: Permanent and Sub-Contract options available Immediate Start Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for Tig Welders/Fabricators to join our client who are a market-leading Engineering Contractor working across Corby and sites around East Anglia. They are currently looking for Tig Welders (also with a Mig background) to work within their workshops and on-site for their clients across the Region. These will be within Process Pipework and Food Manufacturing facilities. Please note – You will attend an initial Weld Test at the Client’s Offices at Corby. Tig Welder/Fabricator Duties: * Tig Welding of Industrial Stainless-Steel Pipework. * Sheet Metal Fabrication and reading from technical drawings. * Fabricating Stainless steel chute and framework using brake press and guillotine. Tig Welder/Fabricator Requirements: * A Valid CCNSG Site Safety Card. * 2-3 years’ experience as a Tig Welder (within Food & Bev, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical settings). * Proven knowledge in Sch Stainless steel Pipework Welding. * You must have your own gear, PPE, overalls, hand/power tools and a full kit.
