Project Engineer Location: Dudley Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Hours: Mon – Thurs 8:00 – 4:15 Fri 8:00 – 3:45 Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a background in control panels and schematics? We currntly have an opportunity to join a specialist engineering business that designs, builds and delivers power distribution systems, control panels, and switchgear solutions for a wide range of industries. They’re known for producing high-quality, bespoke electrical systems and take pride in delivering projects from design through to installation. The Role You’ll be involved in projects from concept through to completion, ensuring client requirements are delivered to the highest standard. Responsibilities include: * Producing wiring schematics (essential) * Using 2D CAD to generate GA and panel drawings * Creating material schedules in Excel * Designing schematics for control panels (Schneider panel experience highly desirable) * Running projects from start to finish, liaising with clients throughout * Producing RAMS (Risk Assessments / Method Statements) * Conducting occasional site surveys About You * Proven experience producing wiring schematics and panel drawings * Proficient in 2D CAD * Experience working on control panel projects * Ability to manage projects end-to-end and liaise with clients What’s On Offer * Salary £40,000 – £50,000 DOE * Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00 – 16:15, Fri 8:00 – 15:45 (early finish) * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension scheme * Christmas bonuses * Regular employee rewards such as team days out and recognition schemes This is a brilliant opportunity for a Project Engineer who wants to be part of a specialist power and control systems provider where hard work is noticed, rewarded, and celebrated.
