Pipefitter Welder (Tradesman)
Location: Burntwood (WS7)
Rates at CIS:
- £33ph - local (Travel paid one way daily) for local workers.
- £35ph - lodging (Travel paid Mon & Fri) for workers lodging.
Hours: Mon-Thurs (10 hrs a day) & Fridays (7 hrs)
Contract: Up to February 2027

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for Pipefitter Welders with a strong Trades background to join our client who are a market-leading Engineering Contractor working on-site at a Manufacturing Facility Burntwood (WS7).
As a Pipefitter/Welder, you will be required to fit Screwed Stainless-Steel Pipefitting to a high standard (within Dairy Pipework) and Orbital Welding.
Pipefitter Welder Requirements:
- A Valid CSCS Card (within Mechanical Pipefitting &/or Steel Fabrication).
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Pipefitter Welder (within Food & Bev/Dairy, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical settings).
- You must have your own full PPE protective gear, welder, gloves, overalls and hand tools.
