Nelson Permanent Placements are recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer/Electrical Tester on behalf of a client which provides national life safety provider, specialising in ensuring that residential properties meet the highest safety standards. Our work spans a range of services, including electrical testing, inspections, and repairs, focusing on compliance with current regulations to safeguard both residents and properties.

To be considered for this role as an Electrical Test Engineer/Electrical Tester you will have:
- 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installations
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (desirable, but training provided)
- Previous electrical experience in a domestic environment
- A solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- A full UK driving licence
- A good level of IT literacy
The key responsibilities of this role as an Electrical Test Engineer/Electrical Tester are:
- Conduct fixed wire installation tests (EICR) to ensure electrical systems are safe and compliant with regulations, identifying faults or safety hazards.
