Electrical Engineer – Small Works (London) £33,280 – £38,870 + OTE £43k–£48k (up to ~£60k with overtime/bonus) Permanent | Van, tools, test kit, phone & tablet If you want a stable, growing compliance employer that does things properly and backs you with wellbeing support and training, this is it. You’ll join a nationwide compliance and safety team, serving social-housing landlords across London — keeping residents safe and installations compliant with current standards. What you’ll do * Fixed-wire testing and EICRs in occupied domestic/social-housing properties. * Diagnose and complete electrical remedials to BS 7671. * Log accurate results via tablet-based software. * Follow H&S processes and represent the team professionally. What you’ll need * C&G 2382 (18th Edition), NVQ Level 3 / C&G 2360/2330 (Parts 1&2), domestic test/inspection experience, full UK licence, confident with IT. * C&G 2391 (or equivalent) is ideal — training can be provided for the right person. What’s on offer * Base £33,280–£38,870; OTE £43k–£48k with realistic overtime; up to ~£60k possible (overtime/bonuses). * £1,000 welcome bonus (paid in two stages post-start/probation). * Paid travel time, overtime at 1.5x, double pay on bank holidays. * Van + fuel card, test equipment, phone & tablet supplied. * 22 days’ holiday + bank hols, plus an extra day each year of service. * People-first benefits: EAP, wellbeing app, mental-health support, employee discounts, pension, death-in-service, birthday voucher. * Local work pattern: typically within ~30 minutes of home; anything further is paid.
