Given the recent growth of the business they now require a Electrical Project Engineer to work within their Oil & Gas team and support the leadership team maximise opportunities within the South West of the country. As the Electrical Project Engineer isit your responsible to oversee and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion within the oil & gas industry. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical installations, processes, and components to meet project specifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manages project timelines, and budgets, and ensures that all electrical engineering aspects align with safety and quality standards. To be considered for this role you must … * Level 3 C&G qualified/Degree level qualification * Proven experience in electrical project engineering * Knowledge & Experience of Oil & Gas industry * Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards. * Excellent leadership and team management skills. * Knowledge of working in ATEX areas Ideally you will also have completed your COMPEX during your career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. * Oversee the design and engineering phases of oil and gas projects, including facility layouts, piping, instrumentation, and equipment specifications. * Collaborate with design teams and provide technical expertise to ensure project specifications are met. * Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations. * Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance and support. * To develop the business by securing opportunities within our existing and future customers by securing additional revenue and profit whilst ensuring we maintain a strong working relationship * Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. * Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments. * Collaborate with the design team to create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation. * Review and approve design changes and modifications. * Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex electrical engineering issues. * Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. * Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
