Nelson Permanent Placements are recruiting for Electricians for a UK leading Facilities Maintenance Company with a legacy spanning over 100 years. This is an opportunity to work for a growing successful organisation that has an impressive client portfolio. Our client delivers planned and reactive maintenance, full mechanical and electrical services from design to installation, and data-driven optimisation, ensuring full compliance across even the most regulated industries. They also provide renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions to support your journey to Net Zero. We are currently recruiting electricians based at our offices in Burton-upon-Trent, Milton Keynes and London (Westfield). The key responsibilities of this role as an Electrical Engineer are: * Fully qualified Electrician holding a relevant Level 3 Electrical Qualification. * Conducting surveys of sites with existing or planned electrical systems. * Preparing electrical installation plans and technical schematics. * Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical systems in public spaces and buildings. * Ensuring all electrical systems comply with national electrical safety standards and regulations. * Overseeing ongoing electrical installations and offering technical support to installation teams as required. * Interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to carry out installations effectively. * Completing job sheets and maintaining accurate records of materials used. * Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults. * Advising management on the replacement of ageing electrical equipment to mitigate risks. * Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and troubleshooting faults using appropriate testing tools. * Regular travel and working away from home, delivering a variety of projects for clients across the UK. Qualifications and Skills of an Electrical Engineer: * 17th/18th Edition * EAL/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical discipline. * Client facing experience (desirable) * CSCS card advantageous but not essential. * Full clean driving licence The employment package for an Electrical Engineer is: * 37.5 hours per week plus overtime * JIB+ rates: Basic of £35,000 with earnings up to £58,600 per year with overtime * Plus, Enhanced Lodge and travel allowance. * Plus, Transport and uniform provided. * Leading training from our in-house academy. * Inclusive employer committed to diversity and wellbeing How to Apply: This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Nelson Permanent Placements Ltd.
