NPP are recruiting for an experienced site manager for a permanent role for an established, reputable West Midlands based principal contractor that specialises in new build and refurbishment for the commercial and education sectors.
Duties:
- Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the clientβs specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
- Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public.
- Rams & site inductions.
- Enforcing health & safety protocols.
- Coordinating and supervising the site team & sub-contractors.
- Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety.
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
- Maintaining quality control procedures.
- Assessing and minimising risk.
- Writing and submitting reports.
- Helping to negotiate contracts and securing permits and licences.
- Experience of education and commercial build projects.
Requirements:
- CSCS Black Card.
- SMSTS.
- 1st Aid at work certificate.
- Relevant construction certification.
- DBS (or willing to go through the application).
