Pipefitter Welder in Chasetown

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting experienced Pipe Fitter Welders for an exciting opportunity in Staffordshire, working on dairy and process pipework projects.

Pay

• £33 per hour – local rate (Travel paid one way daily for local workers)
• £35 per hour – lodging rate (Travel paid Monday & Friday for workers lodging)

Working Hours (53 PW)

• Monday–Thursday: 11-hour days
• Friday: 9-hour day

Until 2027

The Role

We are looking for skilled Pipe Fitter Welders with experience working on stainless steel pipework, ideally within the dairy, food, or process industry.

The role will involve:

• Fitting and welding stainless steel dairy pipework
• Working from drawings and specifications
• TIG welding stainless steel pipework
• Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
• Working independently and as part of a site team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter Welder
• Strong stainless steel pipework experience
• Dairy/process pipework experience
• Ability to work from technical drawings
• Own welding plant and tools required
• CSCS
• Relevant welding qualifications/certifications preferred
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
