Summary
As a Senior Care Assistant (Nights), you will support residents’ wellbeing and help maintain a calm, safe care home overnight. You will guide colleagues, respond to residents’ needs and ensure care is delivered with dignity and respect.
Duties
Provide attentive senior care, following individual care plans and recording relevant updates using IT systems.
Support and supervise colleagues during the night, offering clear guidance and communicating important information at handover.
Monitor residents’ wellbeing, respond appropriately to changes or concerns, and elevate issues in line with care home procedures.
Your impact: Clear handovers help colleagues provide consistent, informed support to residents throughout the day and night.
Experience
Required: You will bring practical senior care capabilities, clear communication, confidence using IT to maintain records, and the ability to follow care plans and support residents respectfully. Preferred: Care home experience, supervising experience, leadership strengths and driving ability can help you contribute flexibly and guide the team effectively. Administer medications according to the homes policy's and procedures.
