This is a practical, field-based role focused on:

  • Installing, configuring and commissioning AV systems (meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, communal areas, client offices)
  • Supporting AV refresh projects and small works
  • Troubleshooting issues on-site and remotely
  • Carrying out site surveys, cabling, mounting and room preparation
  • Supporting client fit-outs using AV standards
  • Maintaining ambient sound systems across locations
  • Assisting with client walk-throughs and demos
  • Ensuring all work meets safety standards and installation best practice
  • Keeping accurate asset and installation records

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ hands-on AV installation experience in commercial environments
  • Experience with some or all of: Yealink, Logitech, Bose Videobar, Dante audio systems
  • Strong understanding of AV cabling, mounting and room preparation standards
  • Comfortable using power tools and working in operational office environments
  • Experience supporting non-technical users in person
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow installation playbooks
  • Good understanding of AV networking basics (VLANs, PoE, IP addressing)
  • Digital signage or control system experience is a plus

Specific skills

  • Working knowledge of AV cabling, patching, mounting and room preparation standards.
  • Comfortable working in live office environments with strong awareness of health and safety.
